A Case Study: Rightacres Propery Co. Limited

The Parkgate Hotel is a 170-bedroom Welsh Rugby Union–branded hotel that blends its historic character with state-of-the-art 21st-century facilities in the heart of Cardiff.

We were engaged to prepare and implement all legal documentation for the redevelopment, funded through pension investment, covering every stage from planning through to operation.

Our role included advising on and drafting the joint venture agreement, forward-funded development agreements, a comprehensive suite of construction documentation, and the operating agreement with the Celtic Manor.

“The city centre of Cardiff has been lacking a luxury hotel for a long time and it is especially pleasing to incorporate two iconic but unused buildings in the hotel. As well as the connection to Principality Stadium, the significant commercial regeneration going on in this part of the city will only add to the appeal of The Parkgate Hotel.”
